Dodmoor House wedding photographer – Mark and Bev met up with me in the Summer to talk about their wedding photography plans, with all weddings they take planning and time soon rushes by. I arrived at the gorgeous Dodmoor House at noon, to be greeted with blue skies and wonderful light. Bev and the girls were already getting ready in Dodmoor House’s bridal room, the flowers, created by Towcester Floral Art arrived, a perfect combination of winter berries and roses, coordinating with the girls dresses. Bev, then helped by her mum put on her beautiful lace dress, her dad arrived to take her to the ceremony room. Throughout the service the sun beamed in, Liberty and Sophie read a poem written by Bev. They came out to hot chocolate and marshmallows, as the winter sun faded fast, there was just enough time to capture them before they sat down for their wedding breakfast. Bev’s dad, Mark, their stand in best man and Bev herself made fun speeches. This is always a wonderful time to capture emotional moments. Coffee and mince pies were enjoyed while ‘Don’t-tell Johnny’, led by Bev’s cousins played folk music, music is always perfect for this time of day at weddings and creates a lively and relaxed atmosphere, Bev and Finlay both took their places on the stage before the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance. It really was a fun, emotional and gorgeous day, the very welcoming friends and family, Dodmoor House did a wonderful job of making it flow so well and informing me that traffic was bad enough to take a another route. A great couple, friends and family, venue, food and atmosphere. A big thank you to David Murray photography for working with me on the day.
